EITCA/AI Artificial Intelligence Academy is an advanced training and certification programme with extensive didactic content, equivalent to international post-graduate studies combined with the industry-level training, and surpassing standardized training offers in various fields of applicable artificial intelligence available on the market. The content of the EITCA Academy Certification programme is specified and standardized by the European Information Technologies Certification Institute EITCI in Brussels. This programme is successively updated due to AI advancement in accordance with the guidelines of the EITCI Institute and is subject to periodic accreditations.
Personalized European IT Certifications that participant obtains after completing EITCA/AI Academy consists of EITCA/AI Artificial Intelligence Academy Certificate and 12 consistuent EITC Certificates. Specimens of all these Certificates are presented below:
Both the EITCA and EITC Certificates contain participant's name, certification programme name, date of issue and the unique certification ID. The EITC Certificates additionally present a detailed programme curriculum description along with an examination percentage score result and the QR code for the automatic on-line validation of the Certificate. The QR code scan system enables easy machine recognition and automation of a Certificate validation, but manual validation of authenticity and verification of Certification details is also possible by providing the Certification ID and the holder's last name at the EITCI validation service. At the EITCI validation service all personal Certifications are stored digitally and in case of losing of the certification data additional reissues can be requested at no charge from there. There is also a possibility to download EITC/EITCA Certifications in the PDF format along with the supplementary documents (the EITCA Certificate is additionally accompanied by the certification supplement detailing the full programme content of the EITCA Academy, presenting all this data in a joint form together with the quantified percentage results of the examinations). All of the Certificates are accreditted by the programme's certification body, the European Information Technologies Certification Institute EITCI.
Both the learning process as well as examination procedures within EITCA Academy are carried out remotely within e-learning platform. The didactic process, carried out online with the use of any client device, is fully flexible in terms of time and place, eliminating requirement of participants' physical presence and removing accessibility barriers (such as geographic or time zone barriers).
After signing-up for a chosen EITC/EITCA programme participants acquire access to the personalized e-learning environment featuring asynchronous learning methodology, without any timing requirements.
EITC/EITCA e-learning didactics highlights:
- Didactic process can be started at any moment (recruitment is open throughout the year) and can be carried out at any time (e.g. at evening hours or on weekends) and from any location, with the use of any client device with Internet connectivity.
- The up to date and functional didactic open-access resources referenced for corresponding EITC Certification curriculums are constantly available for the participant 24/7 within the e-learning platform.
- A wide scope of the didactic content allows to tailor the learning process to the needs of both beginners and advanced participants.
- All didactic content is available as digital open-access educational resources referenced to the Certification curriculym in a step-by-step manner in the e-learning platform to aid in preperation for the EITC examinations.
- Each EITC programme encompassing ca. 15 hours can be completed in 2 days, while EITCA Academy programme can be completed in a period corresponding to the number of EITC programmes it comprises, e.g. in case of EITCA/AI Academy it would be 24 days (a usual standard period of completion is one month).
- There are however no time-requirements for completion of the EITC/EITCA programmes, and the time of completion fully depends on the participant's preference on learning and preparation intensity.
The EITC/EITCA interactive didactic process on the e-learning platform includes an unlimited availability of expert consultations. On-line consultancy can be initiated at any time by the participant who requires assistance.
Depending on the needs of the participant the consultancy can be limited to answering to the specific questions or solving problems associated with the Certification curriculum. It can be also extended to tutorials and advices, up to individual didactic approach based on the progress of the participant. Consultancies are based on the e-learning platform communication system as well as individual e-mail contact and if required real-time chat with experts.
The e-learning platform processes internally the statistics of all learning activities of the participant during didactic programme implemenation and thus allows consulting experts to individualize their approach in proper assisting of the participant learning needs. Detailed activity reports are prepared automatically by the platform and are presented to the consulting experts so they can know which parts of the programme were most problematic and require focus. The model of individual tutoring and coaching in an expert consultancy depending on the learning needs of participants is based upon similar aproaches of academic conduct and is characterized by increasing learning effectiveness additionally motivating participants to an increased effort in learning when they decide to initiate consultancy assistance.
The on-line didactics based on referencing open-access educational materials is programmed into EITC curriculums which end in fully remote EITC examination conducted online, without the need of physical presence at the examination center. The examination has a form of a closed test, including 15 random multiple-choice test questions on the given EITC course content. This remote test is taken by the participant within the e-learning platform (where the participant is presented with the interactive test which implements random choice of test questions, the ability to return to answered or unanswered questions and time limitation which is 30 minutes). The EITC examination passing score is 60% positive answers but failure in achieving this limit enables participant to retake the exam without additional fees (there are unlimited exam retakes available). Participant can retake a passed test to improve the score for better presentation on the certification.
Completion of all EITC exams which condition EITCA Certification results in issuing to the participant the relevant EITCA Academy Certificate, together with all constituent EITC Certificates. There are no additional EITCA Academy examinations (the examinations are only assigned to EITC programmes, passing each of them results with an EITC Certification issuing, while the EITCA Academy Certification is only issued after passing all its constituent EITC examinations). The scores presented on the EITCA Academy Certification are the scores of all EITC Certifications comprising corresponding EITCA Academy. All certification procedures are implented fully remotely from Brussels and the Ceritificates are digitally sent to the participant, while the digital Certification is also permamently stored in the EITCI validation service.
Certification process along with all the examinations is conducted fully remotely on-line within a modern e-learning platform in an asynchronous mode. Thanks to flexibly of step-by-step organized e-learning didactic process based on referenced open access materials, along with all the examinations carried out remotely and asynchronously online (allowing highest flexibility in time with participant self organizing his / her learning activity at his / her convenience), physical presence of the participant is not necessary, therefore many barriers are eliminated.
The EITCA Academy and EITC certifications are compatible with the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (in short ECTS). If you study on the European university (not necessarily in the EU but in the country participating in the ECTS standard) you can account EITCA Academy or EITC courses completion for your ongoing undergraduate or postgraduate studies programme within a national-level higher education system. This is possible as the EITCA Academy and EITC certifications are ECTS standard compatibile, and have assigned ECTS scores according to the standard specification. Nevertheless it is still a decision on the side of the university administration to accept or decline accounting of completion of a certain EITC certification course in your academic studies programme (such inquiry should be made to the Dean office along with the relevcant EITC/EITCA certifications and their supplements). The EITC and EITCA certifications are provided with the detailed programme supplements that will allow for a proper consideration of contentwise equivalence with a relevant university course or the corresponding ammount of qualifications and competencies even by the universities in the countries which are not participating in the ECTS system.
EITCA Academies consist of groups of individual EITC Certification programmes, each of those being assigned with the defined number of the ECTS credits, awarded after obtaining the Certification. The EITC/EITCA percantage based grading scale is also fully compatible with the ECTS grading scale, thus supporting acceptance of external learning results. The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) serves as a EU based standard for comparing the academic study attainment and performance of students of higher education across the European Union and other European countries seeking to participate in the ECTS standard. For successfully completed courses relevant numbers of ECTS credits are awarded. The ECTS credits serve as a reference to compare complexity of courses in different higher educational institutions and by agreements between these institutions to acknowledge the courses completed in different institutions on the basis of ECTS credits support international exchange of EU students and studying abroad. It should be noted that many countries have similar standards, which can easily account ECTS credits too. Gaining ECTS credits in EITC/EITCA programme will certainly add-up positively to your academic conduct at any university.
Upon the EITCI subsidy supporting European Commission's Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition initiative the EITCA/AI Artificial Intelligence Academy Certification attesting professional IT competencies is accessible internationally within an EITCI subsidized fee for both EU and non-EU citizens (regardless of nationality and country of residence), allowing to obtain professional Artificial Intelligence expertise certification issued in Brussels within a fraction of the costs associated with participating in a stationary course in the EU.

I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: EITC/AI/GCML from European IT Certification Institute!
A very educational and challenging course as part of EITCA AI Academy.
I have successfully completed the EITCA/AI Artificial Intelligence Academy, an EU-certified programme focused on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning🤖🎉.
The programme enabled me to develop a strong understanding of AI, ML, and DL.
I’ve just completed the EITCA/AI Artificial Intelligence Academy 🎓, an intensive, European industry-recognised programme in machine learning, deep learning, quantum ML, reinforcement learning, Python, TensorFlow and more, awarded by the European Information Technologies Certification Institute in Brussels.
Now, I’m not about to start calling myself a developer; I’ve far too much respect for those who live and breathe code. However, it has given me a much clearer view of what’s going on behind the scenes enough to spot genuine opportunities (and the occasional bit of nonsense) in the AI conversation.
If you don’t correctly understand how something works, you’re far more likely to fear it and, in this context, fear leads only to stagnation.

I am thrilled to share that I have successfully earned the EITC/AI/DLTF Deep Learning with TensorFlow certification, representing a significant milestone in my exploration of artificial intelligence and deep learning.

• Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs): Expertise in image recognition and feature extraction through convolutional layers, pooling, and fully connected layers.
• Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs) and LSTMs: Advanced techniques for processing sequential data like text and time series.
• TensorFlow Basics: Mastery of building computational graphs, defining placeholders, and using TensorFlow variables for model training.
• Model Training and Optimization: Proficiency in techniques like gradient descent, AdamOptimizer, and dropout for improving neural network performance.
• GPU Acceleration: Hands-on experience installing and utilizing TensorFlow with NVIDIA CUDA and cuDNN for efficient computation.

And this August we close it with the end of this path to obtain the EITCA Artificial Intelligence Programme certification of the European IT Certification Institute.
There are twelve courses, some, at least for me really complex and I must say that the night has often been an opportunity to review some concepts dispersed over time.
Some small tips for those who will try their hand at this route:
- good English and quite fluent in comprehension (do not use YouTube transpositions in Italian)
- in the most advanced courses there is a lot of mathematics, especially linear algebra (vectors, matrices, visualizations, etc.). Before the courses, do some revision on these things
- Each course gives you 30 minutes to take the test of 15 questions with 4 answers each. The right or wrong ones are not indicated. So take the exams when you are reasonably convinced that you have understood at least 75% of the arguments covered.

So in a way, I am like you. If you take this course, expect to finish it in 3 months about. You will encounter on many new things and eventually you will need to make a pause and study on expertising f.e. in Python. There is much content and stuff to learn. If you only want the certificate perhaps you can finish it in 2 months. If you wish to be an expert take your time and count minimum 3 months (or even 4).

Ending the month of August on a high note. I have successfully completed the European IT Certification Institute license in Artificial Intelligence. The program includes 12 courses developed in collaboration with Google Cloud and covers all the basic concepts of AI and ML, moving on to concepts in advanced domains such as quantum ML. The program focuses more on traditional ML and is a strong course to boost your academic and practical knowledge base.
My learnings from this program include:
1-Revision of the baseline concepts
2-Implementation strategies and the ways to handle the challenges
3-Practical Implications and Utilization Schemes
The only thing that I found challenging was while this is a generalized program, it focused on google cloud platform more than obvious.

Time hop: 8 years ago I was a guest of the current Prime Minister Alexander De Croo who was committed to the digitization of governments, among other things. It was thenToon Vanagt who had given up his seat for me so that I could tell something about dinosaurs in government and that in addition to technology, a system change is also needed to successfully succeed in the mission.
Now, 8 years later, I have to go back to study. An AI and machine learning training course through the EITCA Academy.
